Monday 25th November marked the inspiring launch of Caribbean Voices for Labour, an initiative dedicated to amplifying Caribbean perspectives within the Labour movement. The event was an overwhelming success, thanks to the energy, engagement, and support of everyone who attended.
From heartfelt speeches to constructive dialogue, the evening embodied a shared commitment to shaping a fairer and more inclusive future. Attendees highlighted key issues impacting the Caribbean community, discussed strategies to strengthen representation, and explored ways to contribute meaningfully to CVFL’s vision for 2025 and beyond.
The feedback received has been exceptional, with participants praising the event’s inclusive atmosphere and the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals passionate about progressive change. It’s clear that Caribbean Voices for Labour has already begun forging a strong network, laying the groundwork for impactful advocacy and collaboration.
Looking ahead, the next stages involve building on this momentum by organising community outreach initiatives, policy workshops, and campaign actions.
We will ensure that the voices and concerns of the Caribbean community are front and centre as we approach 2025.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making the launch such a special occasion. Whether you attended, shared your insights, or supported behind the scenes, your dedication is the driving force behind this initiative’s success. Together, we are not only raising voices but creating meaningful change.
